The perya — the travelling fiesta carnival — gave the Philippines its favourite chance games: the colour board, the prize wheel, the drop ball, sa pula sa puti. Licensed platforms now stream versions of them live from studios. Here’s what each one is, and how much we could actually confirm about how they pay.
Color Game
The best known: bet on colours, three colour dice decide. We’ve written a full Color Game guide with the odds — your colour shows only about 42% of the time, and the classic payout gives the house roughly a 7.9% edge.
Pinoy Drop Ball
BingoPlus launched Pinoy Drop Ball in late 2024 as a live-streamed version of the perya drop-ball game, and runs it about 23 hours a day. You bet on cards on a board, then balls drop through a funnel. According to BingoPlus’s launch coverage:
- 1 ball lands on your card: pays 2x
- 2 balls: pays 3x
- 3 balls: you go to a pachinko-style bonus round with multipliers up to 200x
We couldn’t find the board layout or the number of cards, so we can’t calculate the odds or house edge. Casino Plus streams its own “Drop Ball” too.

Pula Puti
“Sa pula, sa puti” — on red, on white — is the oldest betting call in the country. Online, BingoPlus and Casino Plus both list a Pula Puti game. We haven’t found a reliable source for its rules or payouts, and articles describing it contradict each other, so we’re not going to guess. Read the in-game rules before betting, and look for the payout on each side: a “50/50” game that pays less than even money, or has a third outcome where both sides lose, has a house edge built in.
What about e-sabong?
Online cockfight betting has been suspended since Executive Order 9 of December 2022, and PAGCOR has said it has no plans to bring it back. Any site taking e-sabong bets today is operating illegally. We don’t cover it.
Perya rules that still apply online
- The house always has an edge. These are pure chance games; no pattern or streak changes the next result.
- Jackpots are paid for by everyone’s bets. A huge jackpot is real, but so is the extra cut that funds it.
- Only play licensed streams. Live perya games on Facebook or TikTok that take bets by e-wallet transfer are unlicensed — PAGCOR has flagged a surge in illegal gambling through social media.
