Color Game is the perya classic: six colours on a board, three dice, and a crowd shouting at the bangka. It’s now one of the most-searched games in the country, mostly because of live-streamed versions on licensed platforms with jackpots in the hundreds of millions. The rules take a minute to learn. The maths is worth another minute, because your chances are lower than they look.
How to play Color Game
- Pick your colours. The board has six — usually red, blue, yellow, green, white and pink. You can bet on one or several.
- Three dice are rolled or dropped. Each die has the same six colours on its faces.
- Get paid by the number of matches. In the classic perya game, if your colour shows on one die you win even money (1:1), on two dice 2:1, on all three 3:1. If it doesn’t show, you lose your bet.
Your real odds
Most players feel a colour comes up about half the time. It doesn’t. With three fair dice, the chance your colour appears on at least one is 91 in 216 — about 42%. Here’s the full picture for a ₱100 bet on one colour with the classic payout:
| Your colour shows on | Chance | Classic payout | Result on ₱100 |
|---|---|---|---|
| No dice | 57.9% (125/216) | Lose | −₱100 |
| One die | 34.7% (75/216) | 1:1 | +₱100 |
| Two dice | 6.9% (15/216) | 2:1 | +₱200 |
| All three | 0.5% (1/216) | 3:1 | +₱300 |
Add it up and the house keeps 17 of every 216 pesos bet over time — a house edge of about 7.9%. That’s well above a game like baccarat. If a version pays only even money however many dice match, the edge doubles to about 15.7%. Betting on more colours at once doesn’t change the edge; it just spreads the same loss across more bets.
Live Color Game online
Licensed platforms stream Color Game from a studio with a host, and some add a progressive jackpot on top of the base game. Casino Plus’s Color Game is the best known: it has paid reported jackpots of ₱303.5 million in August 2024 and ₱271.4 million in April 2026. We couldn’t confirm the base paytable or what triggers the jackpot on any platform, so check the game’s info screen — a different paytable changes the house edge above. Pragmatic Play also makes a live “Color Game Bonanza” where three matching dice trigger a bonus round instead of paying 3:1.

There’s no system that beats it
Each roll is independent. A colour that hasn’t shown for ten rounds isn’t “due”, and doubling your bet after every loss only makes the losing streaks more expensive. Anyone selling a Color Game “pattern” or “hack” — usually in a Facebook group, often with a link to an unlicensed site — is selling you the losing side. Set a budget, treat it as the price of entertainment, and stop when it’s gone.
