PG Soft (Pocket Games Soft)

PG Soft (Pocket Games Soft) builds slots for phones first — portrait-mode, short animations, and themes that lean Asian: Mahjong Ways, Fortune Tiger, Lucky Neko. Filipino players tend to search the game names rather than the studio, which is why “pg soft” itself only gets about 1,600 searches a month even though its games are everywhere.

Is PG Soft approved by PAGCOR?

Yes. PAGCOR’s per-provider list of approved games includes “Pocket Games Soft (PG Soft)”, dated May 19, 2026, with about 136 different titles. Many are approved in two separate versions, which is common when a provider updates a game. Mahjong Ways and Wild Bounty Showdown are both on it. Unlike JILI, Fa Chai and Pragmatic, the list doesn’t name a local Philippine partner.

Signature games

  • Mahjong Ways (and Mahjong Ways 2) — mahjong tiles instead of symbols, with cascading wins and rising multipliers.
  • Wild Bounty Showdown — the Wild West slot that became a favourite in Filipino lobbies.
  • Fortune Tiger, Fortune Ox, Fortune Rabbit — the small “Fortune” series of quick-hit games.
  • Lucky Neko, Treasures of Aztec, Ganesha Gold — other regulars.

Fake PG games are a real problem

PG Soft’s games are among the most copied in the world — cloned versions of Fortune Tiger spread across illegal sites in Brazil, with altered odds. In 2026 PG Soft launched an in-game verification tool that lets players check a round against its certified original. The practical lesson here is the same as anywhere: a game that looks like PG Soft is only trustworthy on a PAGCOR-licensed site.

What we couldn’t confirm

PG Soft’s website blocks automated reading, so we couldn’t confirm per-game RTP figures from the source; numbers quoted elsewhere for Mahjong Ways sit around 96.9%. Its site says its games are certified by the testing labs BMM and GA. Malta’s regulator suspended the licence of Pocket Games Software Limited in 2020, and we couldn’t confirm its current status there, so we don’t describe PG Soft as Malta-licensed. Its PAGCOR approval for the Philippines is confirmed.
