Pragmatic Play is one of the biggest slot and live casino studios in the world, and the maker of Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza. In the Philippines it’s searched far less than JILI — about 9,900 times a month — but its games sit in almost every licensed lobby, and its live casino tables are a staple.
Is Pragmatic Play approved by PAGCOR?
Yes, through a local partner. PAGCOR’s approved-games lists name PhilWeb Corporation / Pragmatic Play: about 500 approved slots (list dated August 13, 2026), a separate list for its newer “POP” range (October 12, 2026), games from its Arrise studio, and 26 Pragmatic Play Live tables including baccarat, roulette and Dragon Tiger. In July 2026, PhilWeb — a company listed on the Philippine Stock Exchange — announced an exclusive deal to distribute Pragmatic Play content in the country.
Outside the Philippines, Pragmatic Play (Gibraltar) Limited holds active licences from the UK Gambling Commission with no regulatory actions on the public register, and the company says its games are tested by labs including Gaming Laboratories International.
Signature games
- Gates of Olympus — tumbling reels and random multipliers; Pragmatic lists its RTP at 96.50%.
- Sweet Bonanza — the candy slot with scatter pays; Pragmatic lists 96.48%.
- Starlight Princess, Sugar Rush, Big Bass Bonanza — the other titles you’ll see everywhere.
- Pragmatic Play Live — live baccarat, roulette, Dragon Tiger and game shows.
- Color Game Bonanza — a live take on the perya Color Game where three matching dice trigger a bonus round.
About those RTP numbers
Pragmatic is the only one of the four providers here that publishes an RTP on each game’s page. Each page shows a single figure, but trade press has reported that operators can choose lower RTP settings on some of its games. Pragmatic itself doesn’t say either way publicly. So treat the published figure as the maximum, and check the game’s info screen in your casino’s lobby for the version you’re actually playing.
